I used to think of photographing other people’s art as a great inspiration. Not sure if that’s entirely true.
At times I do find the situation quite rewarding somehow. As if I’m able to take all the time and space I need to—not necessarily connect with the piece, but be around it, be with it. To a much greater extent than I normally would experience as a visitor.
